Daily Fallout 76 Briefing - April 11, 2026
Gold Rush is down to its final two days, Mutated Public Events run through Tuesday, and today's Daily Ops send you into Watoga High School on a Decryption run against Scorched with dangerous group-healing mutations.
Active Events Today
Rip Daring vs Aliens C.A.M.P. Showdown
April 2 – April 27, 2026
The month-long C.A.M.P. Showdown continues — build alien-themed displays at your base and earn event-specific rewards. No deadline pressure yet, but today's challenge completions stack toward the weekly requirements, so make the most of overlap.
Mutated Public Events
April 7 – April 14, 2026
Mutated Public Events run through Tuesday at . Running any public event in its mutated form satisfies the weekly challenge for completing three mutated events — today and tomorrow are your best days to stack completions.
Gold Rush
April 9 – April 13, 2026
Gold Rush wraps up Monday at — finish gold bullion farms and any gold-related activities before the bonus window closes. Two days left.
Today's Daily Ops
| Mode | Decryption |
| Location | Watoga High School |
| Enemies | Scorched |
| Mutations | Savage Strike, Group Regeneration |
Mutation breakdown:
- Savage Strike: Enemies deal increased melee damage and can knock you down — maintain distance and favor ranged weapons to avoid getting staggered by Scorched rushing your position.
- Group Regeneration: Enemies near allies regenerate health — avoid letting Scorched cluster together, as sustained healing will undo your damage quickly if you single-target into a group.
Strategy: In Decryption mode, your goal is to locate and kill the Encrypted enemy hidden among the regular Scorched waves — normal enemies must be cleared first to reveal the marked target. With Group Regeneration active, use area-of-effect weapons or explosives to break up clusters and deny the healing aura before focusing the Encrypted target. Keep moving during the search phase since Savage Strike melee rushes can interrupt you if you stand still; prioritize clearing tight corridors in Watoga High School before they can pile on.

Quick completion tips:
- Kill a Mutated Enemy (x10) pairs perfectly with today's active Mutated Public Events — any mutated event counts, so run one and clean up both the challenge and the weekly at the same time.
- Kill a Mole Miner (x10) — Excavator site locations in the Ash Heap (such as the Abandoned Mine Shaft 6 area) reliably have Mole Miner spawns; bring a quick-killing build to clear fast.
- Complete a Grunt Hunt (x2) — this requires completing the Grunt Hunt public event twice; look for the event marker on the map and queue it up back-to-back.
- Eat a Meat-based Meal (x10) — craft simple meat-based foods at any cooking station (Brahmin Meat, Mole Rat Meat, etc.); prepare a batch of 10 and eat them in quick succession to tick this off in one stop.
- Drink Nuka-Cola Quantum (x2) and Drink Nuka-Twist (x2) — both can be crafted at a brewing station or found in vendor inventories; check player vendor camps or the Whitespring Resort.
- Scrap junk to produce Gears (x5) — items like desk fans, typewriters, and microscopes all yield gears when scrapped; loot any office building and scrap at a workbench.
- Gold Star: Complete a Daily Challenge (x6) auto-completes after finishing six other dailies above — do the rest first.
